In May 2015 LEAD was invited to the Change Makers Forum organized by the Samir Kassir Foundation in Beirut, Lebanon.The event, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the assassination of Samir Kassir, was attended by several NGOs from the Arab world. The forum was an opportunity for nonprofits to network, exchange experiences, and reflect on issues of freedom of expression, human rights, education, and youth participation. LEAD was represented by its president and co-founder Iyadh Abid who gave a presentation about the NGO and its mission.
